Blacken festival

A camp-out heavy music festival on Arrernte country, at the mouth of N’Dhala Gorge, about 80 km east of Alice Springs. Bands from across the country and beyond play under red cliffs and a huge sky, alongside Arrernte cultural performance, art installations, sideshows and skating. It’s run by The Black Wreath, Alice Springs’ own heavy music label.
